Receptionist/Administrator Float

Hours: up to 30 hours /week over five days. Minimum 5.25 hours per day

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional receptionist/administrator to join our team. The post is predominately to welcome patients, book appointments both face to face and over the telephone, process paperwork, process repeat prescription requests and various other duties.

Working at both our sites in Great Hollands Health Centre and Birch Hill Medical Centre as required.

Up to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday inclusive.

Shift work between the hours of 8.00am and 6.30pm depending on the rota. Currently looking for afternoon staff to work until 630pm. Middle of the day shift considered.

Computer literacy essential. Medical reception / administration experience preferred but not essential. Attractive salary and benefits.

This post involves high quality, high output working ensuring that enquiries are dealt with appropriately in accordance with departmental standards. Attention to detail is essential.

Practice Nurse

Experienced Practice Nurse required to cover maternity leave (one year) at two site practice located on the edge of Berkshire/Surrey

This is a part time role to cover maternity leave. Hours would be flexible up to 25 a week.

We are a friendly and busy two site GP surgery looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse with a strong emphasis on good teamwork and flexibility to join our team. The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with excellent clinical skills, competent in all usual treatment room tasks, including baby immunisations and management of chronic disease.

If you are a Practice Nurse looking for a new challenge and are passionate about patient care we can offer you flexible hours, full induction and training. The successful candidate will join the current team of two RNs, one Assistant Practitioner and two Health Care Assistants.

Experience in QOF; Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Chronic Disease Management, general Nurse duties e.g. Ear syringing and dressings as well as Travel Immunisations and Childhood Immunisations. Using clinical systems ideally EMIS.
